The Brinkmann 810-5301-V is a good little charcoal smoker and also doubles as a grill. Our smoker arrived at our location and was well packaged. After very little assembly we were “seasoning” our new smoker in about 30 minutes after arrival. After running this Brinkmann through it’s paces and smoking some turkey breasts and ribs. Our turkey breasts were super juicy while the meat just fell of the bones of our ribs.
This Brinkmann charcoal smoker was easier to use than many of the current models available online or in local retailers. There’s a door in the front for easy access to replenish water in the water pan or add additional charcoal for those really long and slow smokes. After our rigorous testing with additional smokings of chicken, brisket, salmon and eggplant we came to our conclusion.
For the price, this smoker is hard to beat. Although it’s might take you a few times to maintain a good smoking temperature like our Top 3 Rated Smokers, it still was easy to cook with. If you’re in the market to buy a charcoal smoker and your on a tight budget, this smoker is for you.
